MIDWEST will award Student Grants to support increased participation of high school, undergraduate and graduate level students with disabilities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

MIDWEST will award grants of up to $5,000 for middle school, high school, and associate degree teachers, and up to $10,000 for faculty and staff at the 2-year and 4-year college and university level, for innovative activities that encourage and facilitate the participation of students with disabilities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Grants are expected to serve as a catalyst for future work, with the intended long-term outcome of increasing the number of students with disabilities who take STEM courses and enter STEM careers.
